Nwa Kosencha vs Kieran Kaberere

Boxing Daily Report from the South African Boxing Kingdom promoted show at Nyayo National Stadium, Nairobi,  taking place on 31/01/2042:

Clearly South African Boxing Kingdom have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Eastern African Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Nwa Kosencha (24(16) - 1(1) - 1) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Kieran Kaberere(22 - 12(6) - 4) from Kisumu, Kenya.  Kosencha weighed in at 129 pounds, while Kaberere weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rich Ashira, and the three ringside judges are Leon Cassam, Kashif Haque and Kenzie Ogot.  

Round 1: 

Kaberere is looking to close the distance.  Kosencha lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kaberere tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Kosencha attempts to land a cross, but Kaberere sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Kosencha steps inside and is on target with a solid right uppercut to Kaberere's body.  
Kaberere gets on the inside.  Kosencha throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Kosencha clinches his opponent.  Kaberere is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Kaberere.  
Kosencha lands a cross.  
Kaberere steps inside.  Kosencha sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kosencha switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Kosencha drives a stinging left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Kaberere attempts to land a cross, but Kosencha blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Kosencha lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Kosencha steps away from his opponent.  Kosencha stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Kosencha lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, DROPPING KABERERE TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Kosencha advances into close range.  Kosencha lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  It looks like Kaberere has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Kosencha steps away from his opponent and lands a cross.  
Kosencha lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Kaberere lands a cross to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kaberere's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Kaberere's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Kosencha attempts to land a jab, but Kaberere dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Kaberere lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kosencha connects with a solid left hook.  Kosencha throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kosencha steps inside.  Kosencha sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Kaberere is on target with a left hook to Kosencha's body.  Kosencha holds on to his opponent. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kosencha tries to step out of his opponents range.  Kaberere feints a right, and then lands a cross.  
Kaberere steps inside and manouvers Kosencha onto the ropes.  Kaberere throws a right hook, but Kosencha ties up his opponent.  Kaberere leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Kosencha's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Kosencha tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab to the head, a cross to the head and a cross to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Kaberere recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Kaberere throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a VICIOUS cross.  KABERERE IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Kosencha is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with an overhand right.  
Kaberere sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Kosencha lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kaberere is looking to close the distance.  Kosencha lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kosencha is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two jabs followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Kaberere is on target with a jab.  Kaberere attempts to land a jab, but Kosencha slips the shot and counters with a right hook.
