Carl McCorkle vs Anthony Donnelly

Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at Royal Dublin Society, Dublin,  taking place on 11/01/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Celtic Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carl McCorkle (17(5) - 3 - 2) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Anthony Donnelly(11 - 5(1) - 2) from Belfast, UK.  Both McCorkle and Donnelly weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Karl Leary, and the three ringside judges are Michael Dillon, Roy Spalding and Sam McCaig.  

Round 1: 

McCorkle gets on the inside and lands a right hook.  
McCorkle advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Donnelly attempts to land a cross, but McCorkle dodges the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
McCorkle gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
McCorkle hits home with a solid left hook.  
McCorkle lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  McCorkle clinches his opponent.  McCorkle throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. McCorkle leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

McCorkle cuts off the ring, trapping Donnelly in a corner.  McCorkle senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Donnelly and just needs the right shot.  McCorkle lands a cross followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a cross to the head, AND DOWN GOES DONNELLY!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is McCorkle!
