Neil Elliot vs Thomas Devlin

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at Emirates Arena, Glasgow,  taking place on 16/01/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the British-Scotland Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Neil Elliot (15(1) - 4 - 1) who hails from Edinburgh, UK and Thomas Devlin(3 - 6 - 3) from Glasgow, UK.  Both Elliot and Devlin weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gordon Arnott, and the three ringside judges are Charlie MacNeal, Anton Adam and Bruce McBeth.  

Round 1: 

Elliot steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.

Devlin gets on the inside.  Devlin is not fighting as well as he'd like.   He catches his opponent with what looks like an intentional butt!  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
