Diego Merino vs Fanuco Cedillo

Boxing Daily Report from the Kiberu Promotions promoted show at Juan Lorenzo Gym, Valencia,  taking place on 03/01/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Spain-Comunidad Valenciana Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Merino (11(1) - 21(2) - 5) who hails from Alicante, Spain and Fanuco Cedillo(4 - 6(1)) from Alicante, Spain.  Merino weighed in at 174 pounds and 10 ounces, while Cedillo weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Poma, and the three ringside judges are Diego Cura, Xaverius Pollino and Joaquin Tiscareno.  

Round 1: 

Cedillo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Cedillo manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Cedillo attempts to land a right hook, but Merino blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Cedillo lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Cedillo steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Merino on the ropes.  Cedillo pivots from in front of his opponent.  Cedillo tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.
