Myrl Geckler vs Gennady Federoff

Boxing Daily Report from the Punch Drunk Promotions promoted show at CU Arena, Hamburg,  taking place on 17/01/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Myrl Geckler (5(4) - 0) who hails from Hamburg, Germany and Gennady Federoff(1 - 3) from Kazan, Russia.  Geckler weighed in at 199 pounds And 10 ounces, while Federoff weighed in at 199 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jarvis Kuhs, and the three ringside judges are Adolph Bierl, Albert Scheuer and Ulbrecht Stommel.  

Round 1: 

Geckler lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Geckler ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Geckler pushes his forearm into Federoff's face.  The referee warns Geckler and breaks the clinch.  
Geckler hits home with a cross.  
Geckler gets on the inside and forces Federoff to back into the ropes.  Geckler lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Geckler advances into close range and drives a firm right hook into his opponents body.  
Geckler manages to force Federoff into the blue corner.  Geckler lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Geckler pivots to the right of his opponent and whips in a big left hook to Federoff's liver.  FEDEROFF IS HURT!  Federoff quickly recovers. 
Geckler lands a right hook.  
Geckler closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Federoff is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Geckler is on target with a solid cross.  
Geckler advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Geckler gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Geckler clinches his opponent.  Geckler tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Federoff's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Geckler to stop fouling.  
Geckler is on target with a cross.  
Geckler closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Geckler gets on the inside and lands a sharp right uppercut.  
Geckler lands a sharp right hook.  
Federoff steps to the outside.  Geckler lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Geckler steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Federoff in the corner.  Geckler connects with a solid right uppercut.  Geckler ties up his opponent.  Geckler is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Geckler lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Geckler drives a sharp right uppercut into Federoff's ribs.  Geckler ties up his opponent.  Geckler is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Geckler's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Federoff switches the action to the outside.  Geckler lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Geckler lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Geckler lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Geckler throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Federoff connects with a right hook.  
Geckler closes the distance.  Geckler is on target with a sharp left hook to Federoff's ribs.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Geckler dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Federoff is on target with a jab.  
Geckler cuts off the ring, trapping Federoff in the blue corner.  Geckler connects with a right uppercut.

Federoff now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Geckler closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Geckler clinches his opponent.  Geckler is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Geckler's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

The referee separates the two fighters and warns Geckler to stop holding.  As Federoff tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Geckler dabs at his face checking for damage.  Geckler has taken some damage there.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.

Geckler advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Geckler advances into close range.  Some sustained pressure from Geckler could be enough to finish Federoff!  Geckler drives a powerful left uppercut into Federoff's ribs.  FEDEROFF HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Geckler senses Federoff is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Geckler lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands a right uppercut to the head followed by two left uppercut's to the body, AND FEDEROFF IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Federoff has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Geckler walks Federoff down, trapping him on the ropes.  Geckler is on target with a left hook.

Geckler lands a MASSIVE right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE FEDEROFF WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!

Geckler is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Geckler lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND FEDEROFF IS DOWN!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Geckler!
