Thabang Mahlangu vs Alexis Van Schalkwyk

Boxing Daily Report from the Soweto Punch Pros promoted show at Bellville Velodrome, Cape Town,  taking place on 02/03/2042:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Western Cape Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Thabang Mahlangu (10(4) - 1) who hails from Cape Town, South Africa and Alexis Van Schalkwyk(9 - 15(2) - 2 - 1(NC)) from Khayelitsha, South Africa.  Mahlangu weighed in at 153 pounds and 8 ounces, while Van Schalkwyk weighed in at 153 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Xhosas Serero, and the three ringside judges are Xhosas Serero, Colin Ntuli and Colin Ntuli.

Mahlangu sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Mahlangu lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND VAN SCHALKWYK IS DOWN!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Van Schalkwyk can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Mahlangu!
