Ivo Anselm vs Andrii Ahadov

Boxing Daily Report from the Punch Drunk Promotions promoted show at CU Arena, Hamburg,  taking place on 17/01/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Ivo Anselm (4(1) - 0) who hails from Karlsruhe, Germany and Andrii Ahadov(2 - 1 - 1) from Toshkent, Uzbekistan.  Both Anselm and Ahadov weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Adolph Bierl, and the three ringside judges are Albert Scheuer, Ulbrecht Stommel and Jarvis Kuhs.  

Round 1: 

Ahadov throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut to Ahadov's body.

Anselm quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ahadov throws a right hook, but Anselm holds on to his opponent.  Anselm uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Ahadov's kidney. The referee warns Anselm and breaks the clinch.  
Ahadov throws a right hook, but Anselm holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Anselm pushes his forearm into Ahadov's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Anselm about fouling.  
Anselm is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Anselm stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Ahadov throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.
