Gaylord Cassel vs Santiago Marcia

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Edwards Hall, Miami,  taking place on 01/02/2042:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gaylord Cassel (10(7) - 0) who hails from Vancouver, Canada and Santiago Marcia(12 - 11(9)) from Chipancingo, Mexico.  Cassel weighed in at 125 pounds and 10 ounces, while Marcia weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stuart Gillund, and the three ringside judges are Fraser Vail, Edmundo Celio and Vince Wood.  

Round 1: 

Marcia lands a cross.  
Marcia feints a cross, but Cassel is not fooled and responds with a solid right hook.  
Marcia switches the action to the outside and lands a ramrod jab.  
Cassel feints a cross, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Marcia manages to force Cassel onto the ropes.  Marcia tries to land a jab, but Cassel dodges the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Marcia feints a left, and then lands with a stiff jab.  
Marcia hits home with a cross.  
Cassel throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Marcia sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Marcia forces Cassel to back into the ropes.  Marcia sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab to the head, a left hook to the head and a jab to the body.

Cassel lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Marcia attempts to land a jab, but Cassel sidesteps and counters with a HUGE cross.  MARCIA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Cassel is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Cassel lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a cross to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents head, KNOCKING MARCIA DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Marcia now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Cassel is on target with a stinging left hook to Marcia's body.  
Cassel is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Cassel strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Marcia sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Cassel lands a straight 1 - 2.  He follows up the attack and lands an overhand right, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Marcia quickly recovers. 
Marcia attempts to land a jab, but Cassel sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.

Cassel is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits the target with a stinging jab.  
Cassel throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Cassel lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Cassel switches the action to the outside and lands with a hard jab.  
Cassel lands a cross, jab and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Cassel lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Marcia attempts to land an overhand left, but Cassel slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents liver.

Marcia forces Cassel to retreat onto the ropes.  Marcia throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a SAVAGE right hook.  MARCIA IS HURT!  Marcia quickly recovers.

Cassel tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Marcia almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Cassel lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Marcia recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Cassel lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Marcia hits the target with a stinging jab.  Marcia attempts to land a right hook, but Cassel sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Cassel is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Cassel lands a jab.  
Marcia walks Cassel down, trapping him on the ropes.  Cassel lands with a spiteful jab.  
Cassel tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Cassel is on target with a mean cross.  MARCIA IS DOWN!  HE UNSTEADILY TRIES TO GET UP BUT IS UNABLE TO BEAT THE 10 COUNT!  The winner by KO is Cassel!
