Denton Begg vs Mark Humphries

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at Centre Étienne Desmarteau - Ice Rink Jean Trottier, Montreal,  taking place on 29/12/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Denton Begg (16(15) - 0) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Mark Humphries(4 - 11 - 4) from Toronto, Canada.  Both Begg and Humphries weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carvell Brame, and the three ringside judges are James Dunlap, Erec Adore and Michael Patillo.  

Round 1:

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Humphries's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Humphries's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Humphries tries to step out of his opponents range.  Begg connects with a SAVAGE cross.  HUMPHRIES WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Begg advances into close range.  Humphries could be stopped here, if Begg can find the right shot!  Begg lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES HUMPHRIES!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  Humphries now seems to have got his legs back.

Humphries tries to keep the action at long range.  Begg feints a left, and then lands with a stiff jab.  
Begg advances into close range and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  Begg holds on to his opponent.  Begg is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Begg pushes his forearm into Humphries's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Begg connects with a solid right hook.  
Begg is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Begg forces Humphries to retreat into the corner.  Begg lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Begg holds on to his opponent.  Begg is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Begg's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Humphries almost instantly gets his legs back.

Begg lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head, AND KNOCKS HUMPHRIES DOWN!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Begg!
