Alfonso Lobo vs Cortez Almendarez

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Honduras-Francisco Morazan promoted show at Tegucigalpa Moron, Tegucigalpa,  taking place on 16/01/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Honduras Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Todo Deportes TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Alfonso Lobo (19 - 15(2) - 3) who hails from San Pedro Sula, Honduras and Cortez Almendarez(14 - 4 - 1) from Tegucigalpa, Honduras.  Lobo weighed in at 111 pounds and 15 ounces, while Almendarez weighed in at 113 pounds.    As Almendarez came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Cuba Barrio, and the three ringside judges are Rodrigo Huerta, Cuba Mendosa and Montana Esquivel.
