Salim Labi vs Ian Landon

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Main Street Armory, Rochester,  taking place on 04/01/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Showtime, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Salim Labi (3(3) - 0) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Ian Landon(22 - 18(4) - 6 - 1(NC)) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Labi weighed in at 200 pounds, while Landon weighed in at 199 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Antonio Palazzi, and the three ringside judges are Harry Trevor, Nico Rossettini and Ethan Rubio.  

Round 1:

Labi closes the distance.  Labi voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Landon accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Labi.

Labi steps inside and slams a hurtful left hook into Landon's liver.  IT LOOKS LIKE LANDON WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Labi ties up his opponent.  Labi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Labi's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Labi tries to step out of his opponents range.  Labi stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Labi lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND LANDON IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Landon now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Landon lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Labi lands a jab, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Landon throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.
