Joshua Craddock vs Dylan Laidler

Boxing Daily Report from the Knoetze Promotions promoted show at Dave Emond Gym, Perth,  taking place on 18/01/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Western Australia Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joshua Craddock (4 - 7(4)) who hails from Perth, Australia and Dylan Laidler(6 - 5) from Perth, Australia.  Both Craddock and Laidler weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vince Kelty, and the three ringside judges are Oscar MacKechnie, Ashley Alekhine and Greg Tassie.  

Round 1: 

Craddock tries to land a jab, but Laidler blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Laidler closes the distance and is on target with a left hook.  
Craddock feints a cross, tricking Laidler into throwing a cross counter.  Craddock springs the trap, countering with  a right uppercut.

Laidler closes the distance.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Craddock dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Laidler walks Craddock down, trapping him in a corner.  Craddock connects with a left hook.  
Craddock switches the action to the outside.  Laidler connects with a cross.  
Craddock is on target with a cross.  
Craddock attempts to land a cross, but Laidler sidesteps and counters with a left hook.
