James McPhee vs Abdul Abboud

Boxing Daily Report from the Legacy United promoted show at Aaron McGuinness Gym, Telford,  taking place on 18/01/2042:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Central England Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James McPhee (1 - 12) who hails from Coventry, UK and Abdul Abboud(5 - 12(1) - 2) from Birmingham, UK.  Both McPhee and Abboud weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Euan Culbertson, and the three ringside judges are Zain Salam, Isaac MacIver and Robert Llewellyn.  

Round 1: 

Abboud walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Abboud is on target with a cross.  
Abboud pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a right uppercut.  
McPhee switches the action to the outside.  Abboud tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook to Abboud's ribs.  
Abboud advances into close range.  Abboud wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McPhee dabs at his face checking for damage.  
McPhee is looking to close the distance and connects with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...McPhee's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  McPhee's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  McPhee's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
