Gavin Donnelly vs Mark Burrell

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at Emirates Arena, Glasgow,  taking place on 27/01/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Gavin Donnelly (2 - 0) who hails from Glasgow, UK and Mark Burrell(6 - 7 - 3) from Wolverhampton, UK.  Donnelly weighed in at 117 pounds And 13 ounces, while Burrell weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David McClarnon, and the three ringside judges are Gordon Arnott, Joseph Menelaws and William Owen.  

Round 1: 

Burrell switches the action to the outside.  Burrell goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Donnelly time to recover.

Donnelly pivots to the left of his opponent.  Burrell throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Burrell forces Donnelly to retreat onto the ropes.  Burrell quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Donnelly lands with a ramrod jab.  
Donnelly lands a stiff jab.  
Donnelly lands a jab.  
Donnelly steps inside.  Donnelly pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Burrell dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Burrell switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Burrell hits home with a right hook.  
Burrell sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Donnelly is on target with a sharp cross.  Donnelly tries to land a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Donnelly walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Donnelly lands a stinging left uppercut.  
Donnelly sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Donnelly attempts to land a jab, but Burrell sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Donnelly advances into close range and lands a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Burrell's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Burrell's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Donnelly gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Donnelly clinches his opponent.  Donnelly leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Donnelly is on target with a cross.  
Donnelly hits home with a stinging cross.  
Donnelly sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Burrell connects with a left hook.  Donnelly ties up his opponent.  Burrell hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Burrell.
