James Pringle vs Sam Tarbert

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Jamaica-Saint Andrew promoted show at New Kingston Meylor, New Kingston,  taking place on 25/01/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Jamaica-Saint Andrew Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Pringle (5 - 6(1) - 1) who hails from New Kingston, Jamaica and Sam Tarbert(26(13) - 7(3)) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  Pringle weighed in at 154 pounds, while Tarbert weighed in at 153 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sam Richie, and the three ringside judges are Ricky Hewson, John Nichol and Alen Candlish.  

Round 1: 

Tarbert steps inside.  Pringle throws a left uppercut, but Tarbert holds on to his opponent.  Tarbert pushes his forearm into Pringle's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Tarbert pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Tarbert steps inside and forces Pringle to retreat onto the ropes.  Pringle throws a left uppercut, but Tarbert clinches his opponent.  Tarbert pushes his forearm into Pringle's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Tarbert about fouling.  
Pringle throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Tarbert pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Tarbert connects with a solid left hook.  
Tarbert tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Tarbert is looking to close the distance.  Tarbert quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Pringle throws a left hook, but Tarbert ties up his opponent.  Tarbert is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Tarbert about fouling.  
Pringle tries to keep the action at long range and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Pringle is on target with a jab.  Pringle attempts to land a jab, but Tarbert dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Tarbert steps inside and hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Tarbert advances into close range.  Tarbert quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Pringle attempts to land a left uppercut, but Tarbert sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Tarbert closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Pringle in the red corner.  Tarbert throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Tarbert holds on to his opponent.  Pringle pushes his forearm into Tarbert's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Pringle.  
Tarbert pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Tarbert lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Pringle is looking to keep his distance.  Tarbert lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Pringle attempts to land a cross, but Tarbert sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Tarbert steps inside.  Pringle attempts to land a right hook, but Tarbert sidesteps and counters with a nasty left uppercut.  PRINGLE IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Tarbert!
