Umair Mahdi vs Tariq Noori

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Delta State promoted show at Warri Moshood, Warri,  taking place on 31/01/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nigeria-Delta State Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Umair Mahdi (38 - 2) who hails from Sapele, Nigeria and Tariq Noori(14 - 2) from Warri, Nigeria.  Mahdi weighed in at 139 pounds and 7 ounces, while Noori weighed in at 140 pounds and 10 ounces.    As Noori came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the titles on the line tonight.  
The referee tonight is Bature Afolayan, and the three ringside judges are Gbolahan Gana, Sajid Nasser and Lordson Aduda.
