Nwankwo Ekoku vs Julius Kanu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kwara State promoted show at Lukman Otorogu Gym, Ilorin,  taking place on 01/02/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kwara State Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nwankwo Ekoku (21 - 11(1)) who hails from Ilorin, Nigeria and Julius Kanu(6 - 10(1)) from Ilorin, Nigeria.  Both Ekoku and Kanu weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Majid Farooq, and the three ringside judges are Ikechukwu Chukwuemeka, Kenzie Acquah and Akeem Nworah.  

Round 1: 

Ekoku gets on the inside.  Ekoku lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Ekoku clinches his opponent.  Ekoku pushes his forearm into Kanu's face.  The referee warns Ekoku and breaks the clinch.
