Jawad Yousif vs Nick Xin

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at HST Ipoh Badminton Arena, Ipoh,  taking place on 01/02/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Jawad Yousif (7(4) - 0) who hails from Ipoh, Malaysia and Nick Xin(5 - 21(1) - 5) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Both Yousif and Xin weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zuffur Sylla, and the three ringside judges are Danyaal Moghaddam, Ibrahim Baccus and Syed Khan.  

Round 1: 

Yousif feints a left, and then lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Yousif gets on the inside and attempts to land a left hook, but Xin blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Yousif digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Yousif steps inside.  Yousif pivots to the right of his opponent.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Xin dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Yousif is looking to close the distance.  Xin throws a right hook, but Yousif ties up his opponent.  Yousif is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Yousif gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Yousif holds on to his opponent.  Yousif pushes his forearm into Xin's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Yousif about fouling.  
Xin pivots to the right of his opponent.  Yousif lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.

Xin manages to force Yousif onto the ropes.  Yousif lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.
