Murat Gultekin vs Tunc Birsen

Boxing Daily Report from the Salifu Promotions promoted show at Can Akalay Gym, Ankara,  taking place on 02/02/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey-Ankara Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Murat Gultekin (4 - 18 - 3) who hails from Ankara, Turkey and Tunc Birsen(4 - 9(1) - 2) from Ankara, Turkey.  Gultekin weighed in at 175 pounds, while Birsen weighed in at 174 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Umut Kaplan, and the three ringside judges are Soner Bucak, Selim Alptekin and Erdem Cetinaslan.  

Round 1: 

Gultekin steps inside.  Gultekin throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Birsen's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
