Alen Magruder vs Rob Wyly

Boxing Daily Report from the Bhengu Promotions promoted show at Roger Lang Gym, Lexington,  taking place on 07/02/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Kentucky Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alen Magruder (4 - 10 - 3) who hails from Lexington, USA and Rob Wyly(7 - 21(1) - 2) from Lexington, USA.  Both Magruder and Wyly weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leon Prosser, and the three ringside judges are Michael Harkins, Shaun Woodman and Will Edington.  

Round 1: 

Magruder is on target with a cross.  
Magruder steps to the outside and lands a cross.  
Wyly gets on the inside and forces Magruder to back into the ropes.  Magruder drives a right uppercut into Wyly's body.  Magruder attempts to land a right hook, but Wyly slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Magruder switches the action to the outside.  Wyly sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Magruder lands a jab.  
Magruder hits home with a right hook.  
Wyly manages to force Magruder onto the ropes.  Wyly pivots to the right of his opponent andThe two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Magruder has taken some damage there.  That has caused a minor cut above.
