Satch Fabre vs Benedict Mboua

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cameroon-Nord-Oueste promoted show at Bamenda Mayer, Bamenda,  taking place on 12/02/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CRTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Satch Fabre (50(24) - 32(11) - 2) who hails from Yaoundé, Cameroon and Benedict Mboua(35(6) - 7(4) - 1) from Bamenda, Cameroon.  Fabre weighed in at 146 pounds And 13 ounces, while Mboua weighed in at 148 pounds And 1 ounces.    As Mboua came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Garner Moukandjo, and the three ringside judges are Olympe Abouna, Ross Madjo and Josce Kwekeu.  

Round 1: 

Fabre is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mboua is on target with a left hook to Fabre's liver.  
Fabre gets on the inside.  Mboua pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Fabre lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Fabre advances into close range and drives a right hook into Mboua's body.  
Fabre hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  
Fabre lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Mboua is on target with a right uppercut to Fabre's body.  
Fabre closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.

Mboua attempts to land a cross, but Fabre blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Fabre connects with a right hook.  
Fabre steps inside.  Mboua is on target with a right hook.  
Fabre lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Fabre pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Fabre closes the distance.  Fabre is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Fabre lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head, AND MBOUA IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  Mboua now seems to have got his legs back.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mboua's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Mboua's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Mboua digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Fabre steps inside and is on target with a left uppercut.  Fabre tries to land a left hook, but Mboua slips the shot and counters with a right hook to Fabre's ribs.  
Fabre advances into close range and hits home with a right hook.  
Fabre steps inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Fabre lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Fabre cuts off the ring, trapping Mboua in a corner.  Fabre lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Fabre drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Fabre digs in a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Fabre sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Fabre is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Fabre closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Mboua tries to step out of his opponents range.  Fabre is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Fabre lands a VICIOUS left hook.  MBOUA IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Fabre is on target with a big cross.  MBOUA IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  Mboua now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Fabre lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Fabre steps inside and attempts to land a right hook, but Mboua parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Fabre lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Fabre lands a solid jab.  
Mboua is looking to keep his distance and lands a stiff jab.  
Mboua throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a FIERCE right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE MBOUA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Fabre is looking to close the distance.  Fabre senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Fabre lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND DROPS MBOUA TO THE CANVAS!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Fabre!
