Joel Mulligan vs Ricardo Catalina

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Sofi Stadium, Los Angeles,  taking place on 08/02/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Joel the Wedge Mulligan (4(3) - 0) who hails from Tulsa, USA and Ricardo Catalina(14 - 13 - 5) from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.  Mulligan weighed in at 147 pounds, while Catalina weighed in at 147 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is William Shawn, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Salido, Lewis Suttie and Mike Amores.  

Round 1: 

Catalina manages to force Mulligan onto the ropes.  Catalina sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Catalina tries to land a left uppercut, but Mulligan blocks the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Catalina tries to step out of his opponents range.  Mulligan lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Mulligan closes the distance and tries to land a left hook, but Catalina blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Mulligan closes the distance.  Mulligan sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Catalina almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Mulligan lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Mulligan is on target with a sharp right hook to Catalina's ribs.  
Mulligan lands a spiteful jab.  
Mulligan advances into close range.  Catalina pivots to the side of his opponent.  Mulligan throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Mulligan holds on to his opponent.  Mulligan tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Catalina behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mulligan.  
Mulligan is on target with a stinging left hook.  Mulligan clinches his opponent.  Mulligan leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mulligan lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Mulligan clinches his opponent.  Mulligan uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Catalina behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Mulligan to stop fouling.  
Mulligan is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Mulligan lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS CATALINA DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Mulligan is on target with a MASSIVE cross.  CATALINA IS DOWN!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Mulligan!
