Elliot Lewis vs Mel Buckley

Boxing Daily Report from the Global Boxing Promotion promoted show at Bolton Morgan, Bolton,  taking place on 17/02/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the British-Northern England Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Elliot Lewis (18(10) - 0) who hails from Sunderland, UK and Mel Buckley(11 - 5(3) - 1) from Hull, UK.  Both Lewis and Buckley weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris McReynolds, and the three ringside judges are Jamie McNabb, Robert McQueen and Tony Ferris.  

Round 1: 

Lewis steps inside.  Lewis pivots to the left of his opponent.  Lewis lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He then lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Lewis ties up his opponent.  Lewis leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Lewis is on target with a jab.  
Lewis gets on the inside and drives a right hook into Buckley's body.  
Buckley throws a right hook, but Lewis holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Lewis pushes his forearm into Buckley's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Lewis about fouling.  
Lewis lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lewis walks Buckley down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Buckley tries to land a jab, but Lewis slips the shot and counters with a nasty right uppercut.  BUCKLEY IS HURT!  Buckley almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Lewis digs in a sharp right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Lewis holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Lewis pushes his forearm into Buckley's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Lewis about fouling.  
Buckley attempts to land a jab, but Lewis dodges the shot and counters with a HUGE cross.  BUCKLEY IS HURT!  Buckley almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Lewis throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Lewis holds on to his opponent.  Lewis leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Lewis's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Lewis is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook.  
Lewis connects with a right hook.  
Buckley steps to the outside and tries to land a cross, but Lewis blocks the shot and counters with a telling cross.  BUCKLEY IS HURT!  
Lewis gets on the inside.  Lewis thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Buckley away.  Lewis lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut, left hook and a cross to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES BUCKLEY!  He manages to get up at 4.  Buckley now seems to have got his legs back.  
Buckley forces Lewis to back into the ropes.  Buckley lands a right hook.  
Lewis is on target with a ramrod jab.  
Lewis closes the distance and is on target with a potent left hook to his opponents body.  DOWN GOES BUCKLEY!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Lewis sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Lewis digs in a left hook to Buckley's liver.  Lewis clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Lewis forces Buckley to retreat onto the ropes.  Lewis lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Lewis tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.  
Lewis gets on the inside.  Lewis pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Buckley quickly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Buckley's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Buckley's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Buckley's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Lewis lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Buckley quickly recovers. 
Lewis is on target with a sharp right hook to Buckley's body.  Lewis clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Lewis pushes his forearm into Buckley's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Lewis to stop fouling.  
Lewis connects with a left uppercut.  
Lewis lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Lewis pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a solid right hook.  
Buckley steps to the outside.  Lewis feints a right hook, and then is on target with a stinging overhand right.  
Lewis closes the distance and walks Buckley into a neutral corner.  Lewis lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lewis is looking to close the distance.  Lewis pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Lewis is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Lewis holds on to his opponent.  Lewis leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Lewis lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Lewis manouvers Buckley into a corner.  Buckley could be stopped here, if Lewis can find the right shot!  Lewis is on target with a WICKED right uppercut.  BUCKLEY IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  Buckley now seems to have got his legs back.  
Lewis gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Buckley is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Lewis sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands an overhand left followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Lewis lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND KNOCKS BUCKLEY DOWN!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Lewis!
