Aaron Edwards vs Brett Magallon

Boxing Daily Report from the Ognjen promoted show at Yost Theater, Santa Ana,  taking place on 19/02/2042:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Aaron Edwards (1 - 0) who hails from West Valley City, USA and Brett Magallon(3 - 2 - 3) from Cape Coral, USA.  Both Edwards and Magallon weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Barry Maxton, and the three ringside judges are Robert Halbert, Dan Beatty and Ian Blevens.  

Round 1: 

Edwards sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Edwards is on target with a right hook.  
Edwards switches the action to the outside and lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Edwards lands a cross.  
Edwards closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Edwards throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Edwards sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Edwards is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand left to the head, a jab to the head and a cross to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Magallon almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Edwards advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Magallon almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Magallon pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Edwards waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Magallon throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Edwards hits home with an overhand right.  
Magallon is on target with a jab.  
Edwards is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

Edwards feints a cross, but Magallon does not fall for it and responds with a cross.  
Edwards gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Edwards is on target with a spiteful cross.  MAGALLON HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 9.  
Edwards lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Magallon quickly recovers. 
Magallon hits home with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Magallon's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Magallon's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Magallon's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Edwards steps to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND MAGALLON IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 7.

HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Edwards!
