Rob Jack vs Geoff Maren

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Bridgestone Arena, Nashville,  taking place on 27/02/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on HBO, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rob Jack (6(2) - 0) who hails from Halifax, Canada and Geoff Maren(13(4) - 4(1) - 1) from Philadelphia, USA.  Both Jack and Maren weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alen Williams, and the three ringside judges are Clint Blagg, Dennis McKenzie and Jonathan Mill.  

Round 1: 

Jack tries to keep the action at long range and lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Maren gets on the inside and drives a solid right uppercut into his opponents body.  Jack holds on to his opponent.  Maren is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Jack is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Jack and breaks the clinch.  
Maren quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Jack lands an overhand left followed by  two jabs to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Jack is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Jack lands a left uppercut, left hook and a cross to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  The winner by KO is Jack!
