Ricardo Amores vs Rafael Merlos

Boxing Daily Report from the HBLUE Promotions promoted show at Estadio José Rico Pérez, Alicante,  taking place on 08/03/2042:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Canal + Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ricardo Amores (3(1) - 0) who hails from Granada, Spain and Rafael Merlos(11 - 16(4) - 4) from Barcelona, Spain.  Both Amores and Merlos weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jair Rebolledo, and the three ringside judges are Saturnin Borra, Jose Carpio and Onofre Merino.  

Round 1: 

Amores steps inside.  Amores pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.

Amores tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Merlos's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Amores to stop fouling.

Amores sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Amores cuts off the ring, trapping Merlos in the red corner.  Amores lands a cross to the body, a left hook to the body and a cross to the head.
