Isaac Bateman vs Louis Roche

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, Gainesville,  taking place on 08/02/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Isaac Bateman (0 - 0) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Louis Roche(3 - 15(2) - 2) from Virginia Beach, USA.  Both Bateman and Roche weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Villasana, and the three ringside judges are Charles Griffiths, Arran Huntress and David Carias.  

Round 1: 

Bateman forces Roche to retreat into the blue corner.  Bateman is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Bateman quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Bateman is on target with a left hook.  
Bateman throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Bateman clinches his opponent.  Bateman pushes his forearm into Roche's face.  The ref breaks Bateman's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Bateman pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Bateman voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Roche steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Bateman steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Bateman clinches his opponent.  Bateman is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Bateman's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Roche pivots to the right of his opponent.  Bateman lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Roche almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Bateman connects with a left hook.  Bateman ties up his opponent.  Bateman leans on his opponent using all his weight. Bateman uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Roche behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Bateman steps inside and is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Roche steps away from his opponent.  Bateman lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Roche now seems to have his senses back.  
Roche quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Bateman closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Bateman lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Roche recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Bateman is on target with a solid left uppercut.  
Roche tries to step out of his opponents range.  Bateman drives a ramrod jab into his opponents face.  
Bateman lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Bateman throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Bateman steps inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Roche throws a left hook, but Bateman ties up his opponent.  Bateman is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Bateman is on target with a cross.  
Bateman closes the distance and hits home with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Roche's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Roche's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Bateman lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Bateman closes the distance and hits home with a right hook.  Bateman clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Bateman pushes his forearm into Roche's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Bateman to stop fouling.  
Bateman steps inside and connects with a BRUTAL left uppercut.  ROCHE IS HURT!  Roche recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Bateman steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Bateman hits home with a sharp cross.  
Roche hits home with a left uppercut.  
Bateman advances into close range and digs in a firm right hook to Roche's body.  
Bateman lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Roche steps to the outside.  Bateman lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Roche now seems to have his senses back.  
Bateman lands a right hook to the body, a cross to the head and a jab to the head.  
Roche steps to the outside.  Bateman lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Bateman gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Bateman clinches his opponent.  Bateman pushes his forearm into Roche's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Bateman lands a MASSIVE left hook.  ROCHE IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 9.  Bateman ties up his opponent.  Bateman hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Bateman is on target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Roche's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Bateman hits home with a cross.  
Bateman gets on the inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Bateman lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Roche is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Bateman is on target with a ramrod jab.
