Rico Danon vs John Mullen

Boxing Daily Report from the International Boxing Fight League promoted show at IBFL New York, New York City,  taking place on 13/02/2042:

Clearly International Boxing Fight League have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Rico Danon (3(3) - 0) who hails from Celaya, Mexico and John Mullen(12 - 9 - 2) from Tulsa, USA.  Both Danon and Mullen weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ashley Masson, and the three ringside judges are Matthew Cumbie, Davie Cleary and Isaac Isbister.  

Round 1: 

Danon hits the target with a solid jab.  
Danon steps inside.  Danon sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  
Mullen sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Danon lands with a spiteful jab.  
Mullen throws a right uppercut, but Danon clinches his opponent.  Danon leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Danon forces Mullen to back into the ropes.  Danon sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Mullen throws a left hook, but Danon ties up his opponent.  Danon leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Danon pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Danon lands a left uppercut, jab and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Danon closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Danon holds on to his opponent.  Danon is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Danon about fouling.  
Mullen closes the distance.  Danon lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Danon clinches his opponent.  Danon throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mullen advances into close range.  Danon pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Mullen waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Danon lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Danon gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Danon is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Danon forces Mullen to back into a corner.  Danon drives a firm left uppercut into Mullen's body.

Danon drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.  Danon attempts to land a right hook, but Mullen blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Danon manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Danon digs in a firm right uppercut to Mullen's ribs.

Mullen sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Danon hits home with a left uppercut.  
Danon steps inside.  Mullen throws a left uppercut, but Danon clinches his opponent.  Danon leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Danon pivots to the side of his opponent and crashes a big left hook to Mullen's body.  DOWN GOES MULLEN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Danon manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Danon lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Danon closes the distance and drives a stinging left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Danon hits home with a stinging left hook.  Danon tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Danon lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mullen throws a left hook, but Danon clinches his opponent.  Danon leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Danon lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND MULLEN IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Danon gets on the inside.  Danon lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mullen dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Danon is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Mullen pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Mullen manouvers Danon onto the ropes.  Mullen throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.
