Nicandro Lagda vs Jose Retana

Boxing Daily Report from the Knockout Promotions promoted show at Manny Portilla Gym, Cebu City,  taking place on 01/03/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Philippines-Cebu Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nicandro Lagda (18 - 29(1) - 7) who hails from Cebu City, Philippines and Jose Retana(12(2) - 5 - 2) from Mandaue, Philippines.  Lagda weighed in at 117 pounds and 9 ounces, while Retana weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stuart Magpatoc, and the three ringside judges are David Makalintal, Billy Cendejas and Malvolio Monterrosa.
