Owen Kennison vs Mason Atkins

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-New Mexico promoted show at Michael Gubay Gym, Albuquerque,  taking place on 06/03/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-New Mexico Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Owen Kennison (5 - 8 - 1) who hails from Albuquerque, USA and Mason Atkins(20 - 9 - 1) from Albuquerque, USA.  Kennison weighed in at 159 pounds And 15 ounces, while Atkins weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gus Maddix, and the three ringside judges are Danyaal Zehri, Jacob Yuille and Alen Barabas.  

Round 1: 

Atkins closes the distance.  Kennison sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Atkins lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Atkins manages to force Kennison into the corner.  Atkins is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Atkins throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Atkins steps inside and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Kennison throws a right uppercut, but Atkins holds on to his opponent.  Kennison uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Atkins behind the head. 
Atkins closes the distance.  Kennison throws a right hook, but Atkins clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Atkins pushes his forearm into Kennison's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Kennison tries to land a cross, but Atkins blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Kennison is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Atkins lands a jab.  
Atkins digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kennison switches the action to the outside.  Atkins hits home with a cross.
