Maiope Poaro vs James Francy

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Auckland promoted show at Papatoetoe Cosmopolitan Club, Auckland,  taking place on 13/03/2042:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Maiope Poaro (19(16) - 3 - 2) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and James Francy(34(8) - 11(4) - 1(NC)) from North Shore, New Zealand.  Both Poaro and Francy weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Declan Haturini, and the three ringside judges are Paul Vaux, Hamahona Kurawhatia and Ollie Scobie.  

Round 1: 

Francy steps inside.  Poaro connects with a sharp left hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Poaro dabs at his face checking for damage.
