Paul Riddle vs Sam Dixon

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Bahamas-New Providence promoted show at Nassau Inglis, Nassau,  taking place on 18/03/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Bahamas-New Providence Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Riddle (23(10) - 8(5)) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Sam Dixon(3 - 7(3)) from Nassau, Bahamas.  Riddle weighed in at 118 pounds, while Dixon weighed in at 117 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark Conway, and the three ringside judges are Ian Sprout, Blake Shields and Mason Combee.  

Round 1: 

Riddle drives a firm left hook into his opponents liver.  
Riddle drives a stinging left hook into Dixon's ribs.  Riddle holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Riddle pushes his forearm into Dixon's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Riddle sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Riddle tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Dixon gets on the inside.  Riddle throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Riddle ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Riddle pushes his forearm into Dixon's face.  The referee warns Riddle and breaks the clinch.  
Riddle lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Riddle is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Riddle clinches his opponent.  Riddle is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Riddle digs in a left hook to Dixon's body.  
Riddle closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Dixon sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Riddle lands a firm right uppercut.  Riddle ties up his opponent.  Riddle leans on his opponent using all his weight. Riddle throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Riddle.  
Riddle lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Riddle is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Riddle lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS DIXON TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Dixon now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Riddle closes the distance and digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Riddle gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Riddle walks Dixon into a neutral corner.  Riddle lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  Riddle holds on to his opponent.  Riddle tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Dixon behind the head. 
Riddle lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  Riddle holds on to his opponent.  Riddle uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Dixon behind the head. The referee warns Riddle and breaks the clinch.  
Riddle lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Riddle is on target with a solid right hook.  
Dixon steps inside.  Riddle whips in a mean left hook to Dixon's body.  DIXON HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Riddle lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Riddle steps inside and drives a firm left hook into Dixon's body.  
Riddle lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Riddle lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Dixon's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Dixon's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Riddle digs in a firm left hook to Dixon's ribs.  Riddle ties up his opponent.  Riddle uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Dixon behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Riddle about fouling.  
Riddle lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Riddle is on target with a right hook to Dixon's ribs.  
Riddle manouvers his opponent into the red corner.  Riddle lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Riddle pivots to the side of his opponent.  Riddle lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Riddle ties up his opponent.  Riddle is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Riddle is on target with a left hook to Dixon's body.  
Riddle hits home with a left uppercut.  
Riddle sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a stinging cross.  
Riddle hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  
Riddle drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  Riddle clinches his opponent.  Riddle leans on his opponent using all his weight. Riddle tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Dixon behind the head. The ref stops the action and sends Dixon to the neutral corner.  He takes Riddle's arm and signals to each judge that a point should be deducted!  
Riddle advances into close range and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Riddle lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Riddle clinches his opponent.  Riddle leans on his opponent using all his weight. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Riddle to stop holding.  
Riddle connects with a right hook.  
Riddle closes the distance.  Riddle sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS DIXON!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Riddle lands a cross to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Riddle throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Riddle gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Riddle quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Riddle manages to force Dixon into the corner.  Riddle drives a firm right hook into Dixon's body.

Riddle thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Dixon away.  Riddle digs in a stinging left hook to Dixon's body.  DIXON IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  It looks like Dixon has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
