Gus Laloian vs Harvey Hewins

Boxing Daily Report from the puppybundy promoted show at Sydney McNeill, Sydney,  taking place on 16/03/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia-New South Wales Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gus Laloian (17 - 24(8) - 4) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Harvey Hewins(24(7) - 5(2)) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Laloian and Hewins weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Mull, and the three ringside judges are Geoff Crafford, Michael Kaplan and Michael Taggart.  

Round 1: 

Hewins feints a right, and then is on target with a jab.  
Hewins advances into close range and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Laloian pivots to the side of his opponent.  Laloian tries to land a left hook, but Hewins blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Laloian's body.

Laloian is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Hewins advances into close range and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Hewins connects with a sharp left hook.  Hewins ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Hewins pushes his forearm into Laloian's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Laloian switches the action to the outside.  Hewins quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Laloian attempts to land a cross, but Hewins sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Hewins gets on the inside and connects with a right hook.  Hewins ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Hewins pushes his forearm into Laloian's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Laloian tries to keep the action at long range and tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Hewins walks Laloian into a corner.  Hewins senses Laloian is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Hewins lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS LALOIAN DOWN!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Hewins!
