Robert Armstrong vs David Ashland

Boxing Daily Report from the Australia Top Academy promoted show at Melbourne Birnie, Melbourne,  taking place on 16/03/2042:

Clearly Australia Top Academy have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia-Victoria Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Robert Armstrong (2 - 0) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and David Ashland(2 - 5(1) - 6) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Armstrong and Ashland weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Malik Firman, and the three ringside judges are Dale Holland, Owen MacCallum and Kyle Hinshaw.  

Round 1: 

Armstrong steps inside and walks Ashland into the corner.  Ashland throws a left hook, but Armstrong ties up his opponent.  Armstrong leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Armstrong pushes his forearm into Ashland's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Armstrong.  
Armstrong hits home with a sharp right uppercut.  
Ashland steps inside.  Armstrong throws a left hook, but misses the target.  Armstrong holds on to his opponent.  Armstrong leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Armstrong lands two left hooks followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Ashland goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Armstrong time to recover.
