Hackett Mellett vs Dale Bonner

Boxing Daily Report from the Boston Jack promoted show at Lonueuil Rigaudeau, Lonueuil,  taking place on 20/03/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Quebec Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hackett Mellett (11 - 7(3) - 2) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Dale Bonner(3(1) - 5(2)) from Montreal, Canada.  Both Mellett and Bonner weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carvell Brame, and the three ringside judges are James Mabon, Phil Pearce and Jean-Baptiste Camus.  

Round 1: 

Mellett tries to keep the action at long range and throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Bonner gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Bonner lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Mellett is on target with a right hook.  
Bonner is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Bonner lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Mellett tries to land a left uppercut, but Bonner blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Mellett throws a right hook, but Bonner holds on to his opponent.  Bonner pushes his forearm into Mellett's face.  The ref breaks Bonner's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Bonner sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Bonner forces Mellett to retreat into the corner.  Bonner sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a stinging cross.  
Bonner advances into close range and connects with a firm right hook.  
Bonner cuts off the ring, trapping Mellett in a corner.  Bonner lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.
