Eiji Maruyama vs Aki Konya

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hokkaido promoted show at Sapporo Matsuoka, Sapporo,  taking place on 26/03/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hokkaido Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eiji Maruyama (1 - 12 - 1) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Aki Konya(4 - 7) from Sapporo, Japan.  Maruyama weighed in at 115 pounds And 12 ounces, while Konya weighed in at 115 pounds.    As Maruyama came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Kyo Minami, and the three ringside judges are Isamu Hara, Eiji Tanabe and Raiden Machida.
