John Finlay vs Ian Potts

Boxing Daily Report from the Kiwi Promotions promoted show at Wa Ngata Gym, Wellington,  taking place on 28/03/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Wellington Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Finlay (8 - 11 - 1) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Ian Potts(31(21) - 8(6)) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Finlay weighed in at 230 pounds And 13 ounces, while Potts weighed in at 227 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark Ruskin, and the three ringside judges are Mel Binner, Oliver Murray and Denton Rattray.  

Round 1: 

Potts steps inside and is on target with a left uppercut to Finlay's ribs.
