John Heggins vs Witi Hona

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Pennison, Christchurch,  taking place on 29/03/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Canterbury Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Heggins (6 - 18(1) - 5) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Witi Hona(5 - 5(1) - 3) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Heggins weighed in at 111 pounds and 12 ounces, while Hona weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Harry Callison, and the three ringside judges are David Neild, Hohepa Marino and Noel Haxton.  

Round 1: 

Heggins closes the distance.  Hona pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.
