Lee Rutherford vs John Cure

Boxing Daily Report from the Affandaboi promotions promoted show at Glynn Coll Gym, Jersey City,  taking place on 08/04/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-New Jersey Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lee Rutherford (13 - 14(1) - 4) who hails from Jersey City, USA and John Cure(23(11) - 11(1)) from Jersey City, USA.  Rutherford weighed in at 167 pounds and 11 ounces, while Cure weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Leaper, and the three ringside judges are Robert Dalton, Paul Bett and Robert Dalton.  

Round 1: 

Cure stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Rutherford attempts to land a jab, but Cure parries the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Cure closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Rutherford tries to step out of his opponents range.  Cure lands a jab, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.  
Cure gets on the inside and digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Cure closes the distance and digs in a sharp left uppercut to Rutherford's ribs.  
Cure is on target with a right hook.  
Cure advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Cure lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Cure walks Rutherford down, trapping him in the corner.  Cure lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Cure hits home with a left hook.

Rutherford tries to step out of his opponents range.  Cure finds the target with a stinging jab.

Cure steps inside and is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.

Cure crashes a mean right hook to his opponents body.  RUTHERFORD IS HURT!  
It looks like Rutherford has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Cure manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Cure is on target with a right hook to Rutherford's ribs.

Cure sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Rutherford almost instantly recovers.
