David Stephens vs Brendan McKenzie

Boxing Daily Report from the Raven Promotions promoted show at Mel Quay Gym, Nashville,  taking place on 08/04/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Tennessee Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Stephens (8 - 5(2)) who hails from Nashville, USA and Brendan McKenzie(12 - 8(1) - 1) from Nashville, USA.  Stephens weighed in at 154 pounds, while McKenzie weighed in at 153 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ricky Bees, and the three ringside judges are Scott Vaill, Billy Dey and Paul Cruikshank.  

Round 1: 

McKenzie closes the distance.  Stephens lands a left hook.  
McKenzie walks Stephens down, trapping him in a corner.  McKenzie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
McKenzie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
McKenzie closes the distance and lands a right hook.  
McKenzie closes the distance and hits home with a left hook.  McKenzie throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
McKenzie pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McKenzie dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Stephens is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Stephens sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross to the body followed by a overhand left to the head.  
Stephens attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends McKenzie to the neutral corner.  He tells Stephens he will lose a point if he continues to foul.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Stephens's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.
