Darryl Olita vs Steven Oboli

Boxing Daily Report from the South African Boxing Kingdom promoted show at Kasarani indoor arena, Nairobi,  taking place on 28/03/2042:

Clearly South African Boxing Kingdom have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Darryl Olita (1(1) - 0) who hails from Kisumu, Kenya and Steven Oboli(6 - 12(4) - 4) from Onitsha, Nigeria.  Olita weighed in at 174 pounds and 11 ounces, while Oboli weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Scott Merande, and the three ringside judges are Rob Birdi, Chris Birir and Lisimba Kimeli.  

Round 1: 

Olita gets on the inside.  Oboli pivots to the side of his opponent.  Olita is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Olita lands a solid left uppercut.  
Olita manages to force Oboli onto the ropes.  Olita lands a cross.  
Olita closes the distance.  Olita pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a firm left uppercut into his opponents body.  OBOLI IS HURT!  Oboli almost instantly recovers. 
Olita lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Oboli throws a left hook, but Olita clinches his opponent.  Olita leans on his opponent using all his weight. Olita is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Olita about fouling.  
Olita is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Oboli throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Olita lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Olita holds on to his opponent.  Olita leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Olita's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Olita is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Olita closes the distance and lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Olita closes the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  Olita ties up his opponent.  Olita uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Oboli's kidney. The referee warns Olita and breaks the clinch.  
Oboli lands a cross.  
Olita is on target with a left hook to Oboli's body.  
Olita cuts off the ring, trapping Oboli in a neutral corner.  Olita lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Olita gets on the inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Olita drives a firm right hook into Oboli's body.  
Olita lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Oboli recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Olita lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Olita drives a left hook into Oboli's body.  
Oboli steps away from his opponent.  Olita lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Olita digs in a telling right uppercut to Oboli's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE OBOLI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Olita attempts to land a left hook, but Oboli parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Olita stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Olita lands a cross to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  It looks like Oboli has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Oboli's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Oboli's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
