Cortez Barreras vs Diego Vara

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Misamis Oriental promoted show at Juan Palapal Gym, Cagayan de Oro,  taking place on 14/04/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Misamis Oriental Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cortez Barreras (1 - 12 - 2) who hails from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines and Diego Vara(11 - 1) from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines.  Both Barreras and Vara weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Palaganas, and the three ringside judges are Bronco Rubio, Carlos Tagamolila and Juan Guerra.
