Jose Canales vs Zelipe Vielma

Boxing Daily Report from the Mwanambulo Promotions promoted show at Mwanambulo Gym, Panama City,  taking place on 15/04/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Panama Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NEXtv, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jose Canales (24 - 17(4) - 1) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Zelipe Vielma(18(13) - 4(2)) from Panama City, Panama.  Canales weighed in at 129 pounds and 10 ounces, while Vielma weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zelipe Ortez, and the three ringside judges are Jeraldo Alamillo, Sierra Casto and Nicandro Gomez.  

Round 1: 

Canales tries to keep the action at long range and lands a solid jab.  
Canales lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Vielma gets on the inside and walks Canales down, trapping him on the ropes.  Vielma lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Vielma lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Canales tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Vielma connects with a left uppercut.  
Vielma walks his opponent into a corner.  Vielma tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Vielma slams a hurtful left uppercut into Canales's body.  CANALES WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Canales recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Canales lands a jab to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Vielma lands a right hook.  
Vielma is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Canales switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Vielma sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Canales connects with a right hook.

Vielma cuts off the ring, trapping Canales in the corner.  Vielma hits home with a sharp cross.  
Vielma steps inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook to Vielma's ribs.  
Vielma pivots to the side of his opponent.  Vielma attempts to land a jab, but Canales slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Vielma gets on the inside and digs in a firm right hook to Canales's ribs.  
Vielma lands a right hook.  
Canales is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with an overhand right.  
Canales lands a left hook.

Canales hits home with a cross.  Canales attempts to land a left hook, but Vielma parries the shot and counters with a forceful right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE CANALES WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!
