Alex Kidd vs Rich Troup

Boxing Daily Report from the Serero Promotions promoted show at Raleigh Stealey, Raleigh,  taking place on 15/04/2042:

Clearly Serero Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-North Carolina Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alex Kidd (9 - 8(1) - 5) who hails from Raleigh, USA and Rich Troup(13 - 13(2) - 6) from Charlotte, USA.  Both Kidd and Troup weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richard Davies, and the three ringside judges are Edward Voloshin, Dale Jones and Dave Hendren.  

Round 1: 

Kidd closes the distance.  Troup hits home with a right hook.  Troup throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Kidd's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Kidd pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Kidd advances into close range.  Troup tries to land a left hook, but Kidd slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Kidd lands a cross.  
Kidd is on target with a jab.  
Troup walks Kidd onto the ropes.  Troup hits home with a cross.  
Troup switches the action to the outside.  Kidd is on target with a jab.  
Troup tries to step out of his opponents range.  Kidd finds the target with a jab.

Kidd steps inside.  As Kidd tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Troup dabs at his face checking for damage.  Troup has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused a bad cut in the corner of.  
Troup pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a cross.
