Baldovino Andrist vs Dolph Juergens

Boxing Daily Report from the BoxHaus AG promoted show at University Sports Centre, Basel,  taking place on 16/04/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Switzerland Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sport Szene Fernsehen, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Baldovino Andrist (39(29) - 9(8) - 2) who hails from Basel, Switzerland and Dolph Juergens(11 - 2 - 2) from Zurich, Switzerland.  Andrist weighed in at 168 pounds, while Juergens weighed in at 167 pounds And 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mila Krull, and the three ringside judges are Tahbert Conradt, Waldmunt Heiken and Garson Bermel.  

Round 1: 

Andrist lands a stinging jab.

Andrist sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head, AND KNOCKS JUERGENS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Juergens walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Juergens throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Andrist advances into close range.  Andrist pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two right hooks followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Andrist tries to keep the action at long range.  Andrist feints a left hook, and then connects with a stinging overhand right.  
Andrist lands a jab.  
Andrist is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a jab.  
Andrist hits home with a stinging cross.  
Andrist closes the distance and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Andrist steps to the outside.  Juergens tries to land a cross, but Andrist blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Andrist feints a cross and triggers a left uppercut counter from Juergens.  Andrist springs the trap and counters with  a right uppercut.

Andrist leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Juergens attempts to land a right uppercut, but Andrist blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Juergens switches the action to the outside.  Andrist is on target with a stiff jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Juergens's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Juergens's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Andrist tries to keep the action at long range.  Juergens throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.

Andrist knows Juergens is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Andrist lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS JUERGENS TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  Juergens now seems to have his senses back.

Andrist is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Andrist SLAMS a hurtful right hook into his opponents face.  JUERGENS IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Andrist lands a right uppercut, cross and a right hook to his opponents head, AND JUERGENS IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.  Juergens now seems to have got his legs back.  
Andrist lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Andrist switches the action to the outside and lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head, DROPPING JUERGENS TO THE CANVAS!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Andrist!
