Michael McWatters vs Kian Vasco

Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at Melbourne McCrea, Melbourne,  taking place on 16/04/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Victoria Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael McWatters (5 - 7(2) - 2) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Kian Vasco(13 - 24 - 5) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both McWatters and Vasco weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Tighe, and the three ringside judges are Mark Stein, Aaron Yale and Mark Stein.  

Round 1: 

Vasco advances into close range and connects with a left uppercut.  
Vasco gets on the inside.  McWatters connects with a left uppercut.  
Vasco gets on the inside.  Vasco quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
McWatters is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a cross.

McWatters pivots to the side of his opponent.  McWatters throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Vasco closes the distance.  McWatters connects with a left hook.  
McWatters steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Vasco closes the distance.  McWatters sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Vasco connects with a right hook.  
Vasco closes the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Vasco finds the target with a jab.
