Deri Meo vs Zach Grieco

Boxing Daily Report from the The wright promotion promoted show at Birmingham Ables, Birmingham,  taking place on 16/04/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Central England Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Deri Meo (8 - 18(4) - 4) who hails from Leicester, UK and Zach Grieco(15 - 17(4) - 9) from Coventry, UK.  Meo weighed in at 159 pounds and 15 ounces, while Grieco weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Angus Heriot, and the three ringside judges are Louis Atkins, John McQuay and Ian Sheridan.  

Round 1: 

Meo closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Meo sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Grieco hits home with a left uppercut.

Meo steps inside.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Grieco dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Grieco attempts to land a left hook, but Meo slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Meo is looking to close the distance.  Grieco throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Meo time to recover.
