Tariq Hakeem vs Shayan Fares

Boxing Daily Report from the Labi Promotions promoted show at Algiers Pasha, Algiers,  taking place on 17/04/2042:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Algeria-Alger Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tariq Hakeem (8 - 11(1)) who hails from Algiers, Algeria and Shayan Fares(20 - 1) from Algiers, Algeria.  Hakeem weighed in at 154 pounds, while Fares weighed in at 153 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Yasin Klouchi, and the three ringside judges are Faisal Belkaroui, Farhan Segura and Tariq Samaan.  

Round 1: 

Fares advances into close range and lands a left hook.

Hakeem steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Hakeem throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Fares's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Fares gets on the inside.  Hakeem pivots to the left of his opponent.  Fares lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
