Mel Dowie vs Malcolm Eason

Boxing Daily Report from the Yassa Promotions promoted show at Calgary Dodd, Calgary,  taking place on 17/04/2042:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Alberta Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mel Dowie (5 - 5(1) - 1) who hails from Calgary, Canada and Malcolm Eason(15 - 21(1) - 5) from Edmonton, Canada.  Both Dowie and Eason weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Malcolm Jones, and the three ringside judges are Joe Dinwiddie, Robert Methvin and Zachary Shillinglaw.  

Round 1: 

Dowie attempts to land an overhand left, but Eason slips the shot and counters with a cross.
