Dale Mattas vs John Brice

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at AAMI Park, Melbourne,  taking place on 17/05/2042:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight are the Oceania Super Flyweight and Australia Super Flyweight titles.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dale Mattas (33(19) - 6(4) - 1 - 1(NC)) who hails from Perth, Australia and John Not So Nice Brice(27(15) - 12(5) - 1) from Townsville, Australia.  Both Mattas and Brice weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aaron Hadjinyan, and the three ringside judges are Dale Holland, Callum Mairs and Ricky Gebbie.  

Round 1: 

Mattas gets on the inside and drives a solid right hook into his opponents ribs.

Brice wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Mattas has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.  
Mattas lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Mattas digs in a telling right uppercut to Brice's ribcage.  BRICE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  As Brice tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together! Brice almost instantly recovers.

Some sustained pressure from Mattas could be enough to finish Brice!  Mattas lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body, AND KNOCKS BRICE DOWN!  The count reaches 10, but Brice is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Mattas!
